Terms for using InvestigORTM.
These terms govern access to InvestigOR during trial, subscription, pilot, and paid use. If you are using the service for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.
Version 2026-05-14
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding agreement. InvestigOR is not directed to children and is not intended for personal, consumer, school, or casual social use.
You are responsible for protecting your credentials, enabling available account security controls, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
Trial access is an evaluation license. Unless a different written pilot agreement says otherwise, the standard evaluation period is 14 days and may be limited, extended, or ended for abuse, security risk, suspected misuse, or operational reasons.
A no-payment trial does not automatically charge you. Commercial terms, invoices, renewals, and cancellations are arranged directly under your agency’s agreement. InvestigOR does not collect payments in the application.
- Use the service only for lawful, authorized investigative, SIU, security, claims, or related professional work.
- Do not use the service for unlawful surveillance, harassment, stalking, discrimination, intimidation, or unauthorized collection of personal data.
- Do not upload case data unless you have the right and authority to process it in the service.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls, scrape the application, reverse engineer private workflows, or overload the service.
- Do not share account credentials or allow unassigned people to access case materials through your account.
You retain responsibility for the case data, facts, media context, reports, exports, client submissions, and decisions you create or approve through InvestigOR.
You retain your rights in content you submit. Submit only material you are authorized to use, and respect confidentiality obligations and third-party intellectual property.
AI-assisted features support drafting, structure, and workflow. They do not verify facts, make legal determinations, decide case outcomes, or replace professional review.
You must review generated content before relying on it, sending it to a client, filing it, or using it in any operational or legal context.
Heuris Systems and its licensors retain their rights in the service, software, branding, and documentation. These terms do not transfer ownership of your submitted case data to Heuris Systems.
You may not copy, resell, sublicense, benchmark for competitive purposes, reverse engineer, or extract non-public product logic except as expressly allowed by law.
InvestigOR and Heuris Systems are claimed marks. Do not use them in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or ownership by you.
Use of InvestigOR by an agency or client does not imply that organization sponsors, endorses, or owns the service. Demonstration agencies, clients, subjects, and cases are fictional examples.
InvestigOR is provided as a professional workflow tool and may be updated, limited, suspended, or discontinued. Access may be suspended for nonpayment, account compromise, security risk, abusive activity, or violation of these terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or suitability for any particular case, client, legal standard, or jurisdiction.
