InvestigOR is a workflow system first. Where AI-supported features are used, they serve as a support layer only. Human responsibility stays explicit at every stage.

Any AI-assisted content must be reviewed before it is relied on. InvestigOR does not treat AI output as verified truth.
Online investigation boundary
Online investigation is where your online investigator (OI) works the internet-presence side of a claim — background, social-media, and public-source checks — and records structured findings, gaps, and questions to sharpen the surveillance. InvestigOR organizes and preserves that work; it does not perform it automatically. The app does not scrape social media, run automated background checks, identify people, or score fraud on its own — the online investigator performs and stands behind those checks.
Public-source findings remain leads until reviewed, confirmed, or field-verified by the investigator or authorized case stakeholders.
InvestigOR is built for claims-investigation teams — case managers, private investigators (PIs), and online investigators (OIs). Security controls are applied so they protect accounts and case data without slowing down day-to-day use:
- TLS / HTTPS in transit, encryption at rest.
- Cloudflare in front of every request (DDoS, WAF, bot mitigation).
- Cloudflare Turnstile CAPTCHA on signup and password-reset.
- Per-IP rate limits on authentication endpoints.
- Credential-stuffing lockout with self-service unlock via password reset.
- Optional two-factor authentication (TOTP); required for admin roles.
- US-state allow-list and disposable-email rejection at signup.
- Sign-in-event audit trail and manual-review queue for risky signups.
- Workspace isolation: tenant scoping enforced on every query.
- Payment is arranged outside InvestigOR; the app does not collect card details.
US-only at this time. InvestigOR is currently intended for U.S.-based investigative professionals and agencies.
